These terms cover your use of Line Dance Tracker. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. How we handle your data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
The service
Line Dance Tracker is a free tool for tracking line dances and getting suggestions for what to learn next. It's a personal project, so features may change, be paused, or be discontinued. If we ever plan to shut it down, we'll give you notice and a chance to download your data first.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to make an account.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around the app's security;
- scrape or bulk-download the catalog, or overload the service with automated requests;
- send spam, abusive or illegal content through the “suggest a missing dance” form.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Dances, step sheets and videos
Line dances belong to their choreographers. The catalog lists facts about each dance (its name, choreographer, song, level, counts and walls) to help you find and track it. Step sheets and teach and demo videos are links to, or embeds of, material hosted by others, mostly on YouTube. That material belongs to its creators, and YouTube videos are shown under YouTube's Terms of Service. We don't host it, and we can't guarantee it stays available or accurate.
If you're a choreographer or creator and want something of yours corrected, credited differently or removed, email us at the address below and we'll act on it promptly.
Your content
Your lists are yours. When you suggest a missing dance, you let us use that suggestion to add or correct the dance in the catalog.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Dance information and recommendations may be incomplete or wrong, so check the step sheet before you teach a floor.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
